WellVersed is a mobile app that teaches the most common Quranic Arabic words through bite-sized lessons, real verses, and quick quizzes. Every word and verse is sourced from the Quranic Arabic Corpus and Sahih International.
The app features synced audio recitation with multiple respected reciters, real verses for every word, quick quizzes after each lesson part, themed lessons and surah-by-surah organization across all 114 surahs, daily streak tracking, and the 99 Names of Allah. Users can also interact with WiseBuddy, an AI study companion that answers questions about words, verses, and Islamic content grounded in verified app sources.
No account is required to begin learning. Optional in-app purchases may be available. The app is currently in closed beta on Google Play with a public release coming soon.

Yes, WellVersed is free to use. Some optional extras may be available as in-app purchases.
Do I need an account to use WellVersed?
No, you can start learning right away without an account. Signing up with your email lets you keep your streak and progress if you switch phones.
Where do the words and translations come from?
Word meanings, roots, and transliterations come from the Quranic Arabic Corpus at the University of Leeds. English translations use Sahih International and Urdu uses the rendering of Maulana Maududi. Everything is sourced and verified, never invented.
How do streaks and progress tracking work?
Complete a lesson each day to keep your streak alive. Your words learned, lessons completed, and surah progress are saved on your device and to your account if you sign up.
When is the public release?
WellVersed is currently in closed beta on Google Play, with a public release coming soon. You can email them to join the beta.
